About a week ago, my science teacher got a new piece of teaching equipment in her classroom. A smartboard was installed in her classroom. Smartboards are touch screen wipeboards. Only you can connect a computer to it and use it as a huge computer monitor. Then by touching the screen you can move the cursor with your finger, so your finger is the mouse. Also you can write with marker and erase with an eraser, or use your finger for both actions. With the smartboard in our classroom science class has been more interesting, because it makes class more interactive.
Personally, I love having the smart board in my classroom. I think it makes class more interesting, because it lets the students interact with it. Our teacher has us play games that reinforces the concepts were learning about. We get to go up to the board and use our finger as the mouse to play a part of the small game. My class loves playing the games, and I feel that it does a great job of reinforcing the key concepts learned in class. All in all, the smart board was a great add to our class and i hope all classes can soon get one.
