Everyone thinks the WII is just a fun way to hangout with friends, but it can be educational, too. About a week ago my teacher brought in a WII and a game for us all to play. The game was very fun and at times it was hard to figure out how it related to science. But behind the fun of the game, there were many science ideas in the game. Also, the game was all about problem solving. We had to hit certain blocks with the ball we were firing. If we hit the wrong block the whole structure would collapse. The game was so much fun, it was very hard to catch the science in the game, but it was there!!
I believe that playing the WII was a great way to learn some basic science. Also, the game helped the class work together, we did this by telling each other what blocks to hit.
