The fighting has begun again. Hamas fired a rocket from Gaza into Israel earlier this week. The two sides declared a cease fire a few weeks ago, but that didnt hold up very long. These two sides have been fighting for a couple of months and have claimed many innocent lives on both sides. Israel has responded to the rocket with air strikes on Gaza. The fighting doesn't seem like it will end soon. And more innocent lives could be claimed in the process.
The war between Hamas and Israel is a war that could be stopped if both sides would take a chance to listen to each other. To many people are being killed and nothing is being solved. If one side strikes, the other comes back in a different way and the cycle continues. They declared a cease fire on January 21, but Hamas broke it. I believe that this war should be over.
