Roller Coasters

Our teacher comes up with the coolest ways to display the new topics we learn in class. We just recently learned about physics and Newtons laws of motion. She assigned us a project to build a cardboard roller coaster or skate park. My group built a roller coaster to display physics and Newtons laws. Throughout the year we earned paper money to buy supplies, this made the project alot more fun. Then we had to work together to construct the coaster. With in a class there were many different ideas and designs. But making the coasters was only the first part. As the second part of the project we have to make a website that explains how all the terms and ideas effect the roller coasters. On the website we also had to include other information that all rides have, like precausion, and hours of operation. All in all this project was very fun.

I personally loved this project due to how our teacher added so much fun into it. Instead of giving us a normal test she decided to think outside the box and make a fun assessment. I hope for our other units we have many more fun projects like the roller coaster and website.
