S.S National News - Presidential Inauguration

With the Presidential Inauguration happening only yesterday, our new leader has a lot to handle. Being the 44th man to rule our great nation is an amazing task that only a handful of people get to experience. Not only was Barack Obama the 44th President, he is the first African American President! Having the inauguration only a couple days after Martin Luther King Jr. birthday shows just how far our nation has come. But, we are facing hard times and we need a strong man to lift us up out of these times. As Barack Obama said in his speech just after being sworn into office, "Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America."

In the first article I read, the Presidential Inauguration was talked about as a big change in American History. President Obama was sworn into office just after noon using the same bible Lincoln used at his first inauguration. After he was sworn into office President Obama gave a moving speech about what our country faces. He spike about many issues our nation must face. President Barrack Obama "spoke of everything from the economic crisis to the ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan". I believe that our new commander and chief has a lot to handle in his years as the leader of America. With the nations help he can accomplish it all and we will no longer be in a debt of millions of dollars. I believe that President Barrack Obama will have a lot to handle in his year as President, but with the nations help we can rescue ourselves from the hole that were digging ourselves into.

"Some countries are founded upon ethnicity, others upon geography. Some are created from conquest or carved out by faraway rulers. But America is different: It was created from whole cloth — a story built by a people who just keep adding chapters as they go along." This is a great way to describe how America is different from every other nation in the world, with each President new chapters are formed in the ever lasting book of our nation. The new president will have to make his on chapter in the book, it wont be easy but with hard work it is possible. In this article, the author mainly states how Barack Obama will have to edit some of the mistakes made in our nation to make it a better place. With hard work anything is possible, and our president will have to work very hard to make his dream, and the people's dream possible. We have to help him. Following the new laws put into place and being respectful will make the dreams easier to accomplish.

The Inauguration of Americas first African American President has a huge impact on our lives. Our nation is suffering greatly now and Obama needs to get us out, he can't do it on his own, we have to help him. We can simply help him by recycling or being smart with money to help the economy. Change is what our country needed and we got it but now how will we react to the change? No one can know for sure until we start to work our way out of the hole we dug ourselves into.
